The stamp is pretty much talking about characters that people in fandoms would consider apalling if they don't meet up to the standards of that whole bishounen/bishoujo crap.(I'm not bashing them either) You know, characters that actually have some realistic like features, at least has an actual body and not stick thin, does not have perfectly shaped body or clear face like some super human freak, isn't hairless from the neck down, or a character that actually looks like a guy/woman would normally be expected to look in real life. Those characters that have at least have one, more, or even others that weren't listed in the just mentioned list there.

Yeah. I usually tend to be one those people who like the "ugly" characters more than the "pretty" ones in terms of personality and character. In other words, I find them more interesting than the "hot" characters. Like for example Flip from Little Nemo. [link] [link] Despite the fact that I've never actually drawn him, he's really one of my most fave characters in that movie, and while he definitely doesn't fit the bishounen, girly boy look, the "pretty or ugly meter" was not what made me like him as a character. (liking a character design is a different thing)

Other examples of characters in which people from fandoms would call or consider them "ugly" for not fitting their standards of what pretty is would be somebody like Xaldin (yes, I've sadly people call him ugly) from Kingdom Hearts 2, or the typical girl with glasses and braces but not overly dorky character, both male and female.

Now, this stamp does not only apply to people who like "ugly" and "fat" characters just for their character. This can also be for people who find supposedly "ugly" and "fat" characters cute or attractive. I myself find Pence from Kingdom Hearts 2, adorable [link] who's probably the only young non-Disney male character that has an actual body and gets called a fatass by fans in the fandom (which isn't really true, there's a differennce between being obese, overweight, and chubby, people) While the more loved characters in that fandom are characters like Sora, Roxas, Axel, or Riku. Who all happen to be either perfectly thin or fit the pretty boy image.

In conclusion to this: Hooray for "ugly" or "fat" characters!
